QuranConvention (WQC) - Surah Al Insan

The World #QuranConvention (WQC) is a dedicated effort to help people engage meaningfully with the al-Quran. This engagement goes beyond just reading its verses; it involves understanding its teachings and applying them in our lives to transform our mindset and character. These teachings are like guiding lights that apply to various aspects of life, whether it's our homes, workplaces, communities, or the broader world stage.
The WQC is the highlight of the yearly global event called the World #QuranHour (WQH), where Muslims worldwide come together for an hour to connect with a chosen surah from the Quran. The convention aims to strengthen connections among the Sahabah al-Quran (SQ) and promote unity that crosses borders.

Both the WQH and WQC programs are organized by the respected Warisan Ummah Ikhlas Foundation (WUIF), operating under the umbrella of the well-known Karangkraf Media Group. We collaborate with government bodies, educational institutions, media, and experts to cultivate positive values within the Muslim community. Our shared goal is to foster a compassionate Nation that contributes to a more compassionate World.

The first Quran Convention took place in 2019, hosted by the Wilayah Persekutuan Religious Department (JAWI) and graced by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. It centered around the theme of Surah Al-Kahf. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 in 2020, we persisted. With resolute dedication, we returned in 2021 and 2022, exploring the wisdom of surahs al-Mulk and al-Sajdah.

This year, we are honored to announce a strategic collaboration with the esteemed Bayyinah Institute. In joint efforts, we proudly unveil the World #QuranConvention, drawing profound insights from Surah al-Insan and embracing the transformative theme of “Serve to be Served.” This highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place on December 2rd, 2023, at the Movenpick Hotel & Convention Centre KLIA.
