Topics at a Glance: the increasingly competitive takaful market. With the success of last year's Rendezvous, Asia Insurance Review, together with the Malaysian Takaful Association, is jointly hosting The Takaful Rendezvous 2014 in Malaysia.

The Rendezvous will have two full mornings of presentations on the strength and future of the industry, with ample opportunities for business networking and bilateral business meetings. There will also be dedicated breakout sessions catering to both family and general takaful professionals plus a Retakaful Clinic for takaful operators to get free advice and audits of their retakaful protection and arrangements.
