Ahmad Fakhri Hamzah is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), the highest award to be bestowed by Toastmasters International to a member. Ahmad Fakhri is also a Certified Professional Trainer (CPT), an accreditation he earned from the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM). He is a Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner registered with the American Board of NLP.
Ahmad Fakhri is a certified trainer on various Diversity and Inclusiveness programs covering themes that include Generational Differences, Cultures, and Disabilities. His seminars include Work-Life Balance, Parenting With NLP, Public Speaking, Fatherhood, Youth Leadership and Communication Skills. His audiences comprise of youths and adults of varying ages. He has been a guest on different TV and radio stations (ASTRO, TV3, TV2, NTV7, BFM89.9, BernamaTV, IKIMfm).

Ahmad Fakhri has presented his ideas in Durban (South Africa), Melbourne and Sydney (Australia), Doha and Al-Khor (Qatar), Kuwait, Muscat (Oman), Brunei, Singapore and Malaysia.
His previous role as the Asia Pacific Middle East Regional Human Resource Manager for Shell IT Division in Cyberjaya provided unique experiences in managing a diverse pool of local and expatriate workforce of more than 20 nationalities. The global, highly challenging and fast-moving ICT work environment gave him the opportunity to develop critical skills to manage and balance work and life successfully.
Ahmad Fakhri began his professional career in a multinational organisation, Sarawak Shell Berhad, Lutong, as an Underwater Operations Engineer and continued his engineering experience in the Port Dickson Refinery. Ahmad Fakhri has more than 25 years of working experience in various capacities including Offshore Operations, Refinery Engineering and Human Resource. With his natural flair in engaging with people, he started off in the Staff Planning and Recruitment area before being cross-posted to the Middle East as part of his professional development.
Currently a Human Resource practitioner, Ahmad Fakhri believes in unleashing human talents and is passionately involved in developing people through Toastmasters International. He pioneered the establishment of the Toastmasters Club in Cyberjaya, Malaysian Silicon Valley, before spearheading the creation of another club at Damansara Heights. He has won several awards including the prestigious President’s Award in achieving a Distinguished Club program and has represented his Division in District Level Public Speaking Contests. Ahmad has a solid reputation as an energetic speaker who delivers his presentations with great vigour and enthusiasm.
Ahmad Fakhri holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University (USA), and a Diploma in Human Resource from Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM), Malaysia. Ahmad Fakhri is the co-author of THE GROOVY GUIDE TO PARENTING GEN Y AND Z. He is part of the team of parenting experts at ParenThots (The Star).
